The Challenge Before Q.wiki

I often refer to our previous quality management system as “digi-log” — a digital representation of a traditional paper folder, managed via SharePoint. However, the system could not support our internal approval workflows or process descriptions in an integrated way.

Instead, we uploaded work processes as Word documents, which could only be located via document numbers or titles. This setup was unsatisfactory for the QM team, for managers, and for employees alike — the system’s main function was merely to pass audits.
