About CAB Caritas Augsburg Betriebsträger gGmbH

CAB Disability Assistance is a dedicated organization for people with disabilities. As a non-profit limited liability company and a subsidiary of the Caritas Association for the Diocese of Augsburg e.V., we operate over 20 facilities at numerous locations across Swabia, providing support to more than 1,800 adults with disabilities.

We create employment opportunities, offer diverse housing solutions, and provide comprehensive disability counseling. Our mission is to support individuals in every area of life, enabling full participation in professional and social spheres. Around 850 employees work daily to bring this mission to life.

The Challenge Before Q.wiki
Our previous data management system was extremely rigid. It could only be maintained by our quality managers, and all change requests had to be submitted via email.

Navigating the system was difficult, finding the right content was time-consuming, and communicating changes was inefficient. Unsurprisingly, employee engagement with the system was very low — it barely deserved to be called a management system at all.

Choosing Q.wiki

Facing significant time pressure due to an upcoming ISO 9001 audit, we were urgently looking for a ready-to-use quality management solution.

Q.wiki delivered exactly that: after installation, we were able to quickly bring the interactive management system to life and gradually involve all employees in its use.

The fact that implementation was possible so quickly was a major plus point for us.

Success with Q.wiki

In a short time, Q.wiki has sustainably transformed our company’s management system.

Acceptance continues to grow, thanks to the tangible benefits it brings:
We can now find important information directly within the system, which has greatly simplified daily operations and collaboration across departments.

To ensure successful adoption, we conducted software training sessions and continue to offer open office hours — helping to further increase awareness and employee engagement with Q.wiki.

Our Management System Keeps Growing

Our management system is still evolving and continues to grow alongside its everyday use.

But even after just a few months, we had already mapped our entire process landscape — including process objectives — in Q.wiki and successfully used it as the foundation for our ISO 9001 audit.

With any other tool, we probably wouldn't have reached this point for years!
